What are my responsibilities as an activator?
At the time of the Bcelebrated member's passing, an activator is responsible for:
- Reading the Bcelebrated Member's last wishes and communicating them to family and loved ones.
- Updating the Bcelebrated Member's site with memorial information.
- Activating the Bcelebrated member's site, either by initiating the activation process or confirming the activation initiated by another activator.
- Contacting phone-only contacts by phone.
Here's how it works:
- When you are invited to be an activator by a Bcelebrated member, Bcelebrated will send you an email asking if you accept this responsibility. The email includes instructions on how to accept the responsibility and what that responsibility entails, although we highly recommend to members that they discuss this role with you personally before assigning you to be an activator.
- To accept the responsibility of being an activator, simply follow the steps outlined in the email.
- Once you have accepted the responsibility of being an activator, you will receive an email explaining what to do when it is time to activate the member's site. You don't have any further responsibilities until the time of his/her passing.
- At the time of his/her passing, follow the steps in the email to log onto their site, review their last wishes, update the memorial information with pertinent details, and activate the site.
- The first activator to log onto the Bcelebrated site will initiate the activation process. A second activator is required to log onto the site as well to confirm the activation. This confirmation will initiate the email notification system that will send a notification to all of your Bcelebrated contacts.
